Can you reduce cellulite?
:  How does one go about reducing cellulite with endermology?
ANSWER: Estrogen is the key hormone involved in cellulite formation. This is why women have cellulite and most men do not. 90% of women over 20 have cellulite. However, it is treatable! The causes of cellulite are weight gain, genetic predisposition, and inevitable hormone changes throughout life. These factors cause the fat cells in the subcutaneous fat layer, which is structurally different in women, to increase up to 300 times their original size and stick together inside the pockets in which they are enclosed. The pocket is stretched upward while the fibers in-between the pockets are strained, circulation is inhibited and toxins and water are trapped. Cellulite is the result. Because the subcutaneous fat layer responds mainly to hormones and minimally to diet and exercise, poor nutrition and lifestyle tend to worsen the appearance of cellulite. A balanced diet and regular exercise can, to a certain degree, prevent the advanced stages of cellulite, but currently, the most effective treatment approved by the FDA is Endermology.Endermology is a comprehensive, patented technique that was developed in France more than ten years ago. It is a non-surgical approach that embraces the physical and aesthetic needs of the whole body using a patented technique proven safe and effective. Endermology is a whole body approach which stimulates the body with deep, soothing motions that actually reduce the appearance of cellulite by going where no other available treatment can in combating fatty deposits that cause cellulite. Endermology increases circulation and promotes the restoration of collagen function. This allows toxins and abnormal water build up to be expelled as the connective fibers are stretched. The result is a smoother, more contoured body. This is not the same "water build up" that many women experience with PMS or the kind that can be flushed out of the system using a water pill. The water build up is trapped in the connective fibers and continues to build unless released by Endermology and small dietary changes. Most Endermology treatments are 35 minutes in length and are recommended twice a week. The average women will need 15-20 treatments to achieve optimal results. Treatment after treatment, fibroblasts (the connective tissue's main cells) are stimulated, leading to renewed collagen and elastin production. This translates into cutaneous resurfacing and tissue rejuvenation. Taking into account every region of the body, this technique boosts the body's major cleansing mechanisms, including lymphatic drainage, purging the inner environment contained within the body's smooth and supple outer shell.
