Which swimsuit for my body type?
: Does body type matter when choosing a swimsuit?
ANSWER: The anxiety of choosing a swimsuit is here and I’ll try to and give a bit of advice on the various styles of suits for different body types. You cannot pay heed to to these two words enough when selecting a swimsuit:Body Type • Body Type •Body TypeFirst determine what body type you are, this will help you decide the style of suit in which you will look your best.  Strapless, mio, halter, surplice styles are usually the most popular.  Boy leg and skirts are also available.  Prints or solid colors are your own personal preference.  The type of leg is very important the shorter your leg is the higher cut the leg should be of the suit.  To have a thinner & longer leg look be sure to wear a high cut leg.  Boy leg or skirted suits are not advisable for anyone who is hippie or has thick thighs.  The surplice suit usually gives you a longer slimmer body image.  Most come with a moderate to high cut leg.  A moderate back is a good suit for swimming and exercising an example would be a T-back which will stay on your shoulders, and is a very comfortable suit. Some ladies have an extra long body, if this is the case a 2pc. Tankini or a blouson type suit would be a better choice.  Of course there are some of us that will need to pay special attention to tummy control and bust support.  Remember many designers offer suits with full tummy control, built in shelf bras, as well as under-wire shelf bras. After choosing that special suit remember that the care is very important.  Be sure to wash your suit after every use, using a mild detergent, (NO BLEACH) rinse well and hang to dry.  If you use the simple steps in purchasing your swimsuit, as well as maintaining it, you should have a very enjoyable summer.
