Will there ever be anything more than what we have in the Bible?
QUESTION: I wonder why God had the Bible and Koran (Quran) written, for all future generations of mankind, by people from around 1500 B.C. to the first few centuries A.D.   Why did He not allow for other people to be so inspired as to write additional books through the present day? Is everything, that any generation ever needs to know, contained in what we already have?

ANSWER: The Quran and the bible are some of many books God has sent down to the people through the Angel Gabriel.  The difference between a prophet and messenger is simple.  Prophets did not receive books; however messengers did. God sent thousands of prophets and messengers since the time of Adam. All messengers came up with one common message – to worship only one God.  Many people have abandoned their faith totally and distorted the faith just a few years after the departure of their prophets and messengers.  Frankly, all the books of God beside the Quran were not sent to last.  In other words, the bible and other books were sent to specific people at a specific time.  The Quran was sent to mankind – to all humanity.  Before God created man, he knew that he will be sending a book is called Quran, to mankind.
The Quran is the only book of God that is divine.  Not written by a man.  It is the only book that’s still intact as if it was revealed an hour ago.  The Quran is not protected by the Arabs or any Muslim group.  It is protected by God.  He said, “We have revealed this book and we shall protect it.” It is not easy to keep a book for thousands of years without alterations; however the Quran has never been altered.
God has challenged the Arabs of yesterday to come up with a verse like it, they were unable to. For inspiration; not every individual can receive a revelation (book) from God.  Prophets and messengers are special people who are pious and were the best to carry the message of God.  Prophets and messengers of God are special people whom God himself has bestowed his peace and blessings upon.
I would be glad to give a translation of the meaning of the Quran to anyone who has interest to read it.
