I have heard about a new designer in fine women’s apparel, who is she and how did she get started?

That is a very good question. Some designers have made their debut designing and making one line of clothing and have expanded their base to fill customer’s requests. For example, I know of one who started her business by making sweaters. After several requests from her customers she began making designer jackets. These are not just ordinary jackets. They are made from the finest silk; the designer actually travels to Paris and other European cities to get the fabric. Each fabric is item driven, meaning there is a rhyme and a reason to why this designer picks the patterns she does.

As not every woman is made the same, these jackets are made with different shapes for a reason.
