Jews who do not accept Jesus Christ
Question: Will Jews, who do not accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior, be condemned to Hell?
Answer: It is always a dangerous thing to state who God will admit, and who He will not admit, into Heaven. The New Testament often warns that those who reject Christ are in danger of this fate. But the Jews of Jesus generation consisted of those who knew of Jesus
and His life and claims, and those who did not. We might find religious Jews today lacking knowledge of Jesus’ life and claims, and who may be treated as the Jews in Jesus’ generation....if they have not really heard that their Messiah has come. It is for this reason that we want to go to them with their Old Testament and show “classical” Jews that their expected One has come.
In such cases, the religious Jews may differ from Gentiles in their relation to God.
If they do not, then they are the same as we Gentiles: salvation comes only through personal trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. No religious membership or heritage will open Heaven’s door. If it could, then the Son of God would not have had to come to live and suffer on earth.
