Gloria Bayer
Gloria Bayer assists her husband Norman, owner of Mission Possible, a glyconutrients distribution company. Having had two sons born with Cystic Fibrosis, they had been on a continuous search for an answer to the mystery of what allows sickness and disease to take control of a person's health. Approximately four years ago, they were led to a scientific research and development company founded in 1994 whose purpose was to introduce glyconutrient technology to the world. Glyconutrients have been called by some as the "missing links to health." Mission Possible conducts informational meetings and presentations on this new science. You may contact Gloria at (316) 821-9115, or by visiting Mission Possible’s website http://www.glyco.com/missionpossible

Glyconutrients
QUESTION:  What exactly are glyconutrients?  Do glyconutrients have side effects?  Why has my doctor never heard of glyconutrients?
ANSWER:  Glyconutrients are a newly discovered class of special biologic sugars that play a crucial role in helping our bodies stay healthy. "Glyco" means sweet and refers to monosaccharides, or sugars. They are not the same sugars we use to sweeten our coffee or the kind that must be avoided by people suffering from diabetes. Unlike most sugars we are familiar with, they are not used by the body for energy production. Every one of the 6 Trillion cells in the human body must constantly communicate its need for nourishment, recognition and protection to stay healthy. Effective cell-to-cell communication is essential when translating these messages between cells. Glyconutrients enable our cells to efficiently communicate their needs to the rest of the body and to keep the immune system in balance. There are hundreds of different sugars that occur in nature, but only 8 are used by the body for this special communication function. The health problems many of us are experiencing may be caused by the fact that all but 2 of these 8 special sugars have been refined out of our foods so the messages our cells are trying to send are not being properly understood. The best way to stay healthy is to make sure your cells are talking. The American Medical Association has stated "... it is no longer possible to get all of the nutrients necessary in our standard diet to maintain optimal health" (JAMA, July 1997).Validation is found in the numerous scientific papers available on Glyconutrients. You may access many of these papers at http://www.glycoscience.com/. This is an educational site for the average person interested in optimal health as well as health care professionals.Perhaps Thomas Edison was even more of a visionary than any of us could believe when years ago he said, "The Doctor of the Future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease."  Was he talking about glyconutrients?Information on Glyconutrients has only been published in medical textbooks since 1996 (Harper's Biochemistry). Doctors who have not recently graduated from medical school may be unaware of their benefits.  Most physicians attended medical school before this technology began being published so profusely.  Although there are nearly 5,000 articles published daily pertaining to glycobiology, it is still not common knowledge.  Physicians are inundated with new information primarily from pharmaceutical companies and this product being a nutraceutical, it is less known by today's doctors. You may want to ask your doctor to check into it.
