Gloria Bayer
Gloria Bayer assists her husband Norman, owner of Mission Possible, a glyconutrients distribution company. Having had two sons born with Cystic Fibrosis, they had been on a continuous search for an answer to the mystery of what allows sickness and disease to take control of a person's health. Approximately four years ago, they were led to a scientific research and development company founded in 1994 whose purpose was to introduce glyconutrient technology to the world. Glyconutrients have been called by some as the "missing links to health." Mission Possible conducts informational meetings and presentations on this new science. You may contact Gloria at (316) 821-9115, or by visiting Mission Possible’s website http://www.glyco.com/missionpossible

‘Double-blind’ studies
QUESTION:  While reading about new ways to treat old illnesses, I read about something called a 'double-blind,             placebo-controlled study.  What is it?
ANSWER:  Double-blind, placebo-controlled studies are widely considered to be the "gold standard" for substantiating a product's effectiveness in a specific clinical condition, or disease. A placebo-controlled study is one in which a  placebo is given to a portion of the people studied, and the others are given the product expected to have the effect.  Double-blind means that neither the patient nor the physician (clinical investigator) knows which product is being taken-whether placebo or functional product. In this way, the true effect of the functional ingredient can be separated     from mere perceived effects, or "placebo effects". Since the FDA requires that these type studies be completed before a new drug is approved for marketing, many people, especially health care professionals, are most familiar with this type study.  For further information, go to the website http://www.glycoscience.com/ and search for "double blind."  You will find studies on such diseases as osteoarthritis, hyperplasia, Alzheimer's, and immunodeficiency virus.
