How can I keep my mind sharp?
Q- I was wondering if you had any suggestions on keeping your mind fit?
A- There is widespread agreement that leading an active life (physically, mentally and socially) keeps the mind sharp as we age. If you are concerned that your memory is slipping or that your problem-solving skills are not as sharp as they once were, bear in mind that engaging in activities such as learning a new foreign language, playing bridge or chess or doing Sudoku puzzles is better for you than watching TV. You may even want to enlist the help of grandchildren to introduce you to computer-level class or taking an adult course in a subject in which you have always been interested.
