: What can I do for my kids this summer to keep them entertained, but stimulated?
ANSWER: For great opportunities to explore and discover new activities while having fun, try Summer Explorations at Collegiate 2003, offering comprehensive programs from the time school is over in May until the last week in August. Programs for all ages from preschool through adult include enrichment, enhancement, rigorous academic courses for credit, Camp Collegiate, Spartan Sports Camp and Sports Clinics, and the Fine Arts Academy with summer performances in "The Big Apple Theater." At Camp Alpha, kids can experience a real space shuttle simulator, located on-site! Collegiate teachers, and teachers from other distinguished schools and sports teams, instruct all classes. Guest speakers are included to provide students with the broadest possible exposure to their areas of study. Field trips also are incorporated into programs to enhance the learning process. Emphasis is placed on excellence in education.There's no need for adults to feel left out. Discover Decorative Painting, Decorative Painting on Furniture, and Creations with Clay. Learn Tennis or improve your game, either with your child, or with friends in a special Friday Mom's Class. To help with summer vacation planning, there is no charge for the times that students miss due to family obligations or other activities.
