Beards need love too
ANSWER: It seems to be a product problem rather than a hair growth problem. Most skin products like the one you use will lighten the hair's color and sometimes thin it. Acne products are designed to strip the oil from the skin so that the pores remain unblocked with sebum (which causes blackheads and whiteheads). The hair, skin, and nails share a common pH level of 4.5 - 5.5. It does make sense that a pH balanced product designed for use on the hair of the head, would also benefit the hair on the face, but may not prevent outbreaks of acne. I can offer this advice, try keeping your beard cut very close, this will give the hair the advantage of the oils produced by your skin. This is the best conditioner in the world, and the cheapest!
