is the host of "The Good Life Radio Talk Show," Food, Wine and Fun for Your Ears on KNSS Newstalk 1240 AM. His show, in its 12th year, airs from 9-10 a.m. Saturdays and is a "who's who" of the food, wine and beverage industry. Guy is a retired Air Force officer with 20 years experience flying fighters. Now a pilot for FedEx, he is flying the Airbus. Throughout his career in the military, which involved many years living in Europe, he has been a dedicated food and wine enthusiast and home chef. Associated with the radio program, Guy regularly attends national seminars and wine tastings as both enthusiast and participant. A published writer, he has authored many articles on the enjoyment of food, wine & the "Good Life." He currently teaches wine appreciation classes at WSU's Continuing Education Center and is the founding chair and past chapter chair of the American Institute of Wine & Food, Wichita. |

Midwest Beerfest - Music, food ,fun and BEER!
ANSWER: The Mid-west Beerfest Grand Tasting & Auction will take place from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9 and will feature more than 200 beers, educational seminars, cooking with beer demonstration, a Special Beer Seminar with featured guest Lew Bryson, a great array of Beer Friendly food, live music by Big Dave & The Monotones, and the famous beer-lovers Silent Auction, a benefit for Starkey, Inc. Proceeds benefit the American Institute of Wine & Food-Wichita Chapter's Culinary Scholarship Fund.This year's Midwest Beerfest begins with the World Beer Dinner, Friday, Oct. 8, at the Wichita Marriott. Guests will enjoy a spectacular dinner paired with eight of the world's finest beers. The Marriott's Executive Chef Peter Moretti (last year's winner of the AIWF-Wichita Chapter's Culinary Scholarship) will offer a dazzling and delicious menu to perfectly compliment the chosen beers. Special guest speaker Lew Bryson, "The Beer Fly," will host this year's dinner. Lew, from Pennsylvania, has authored and published two travel guidebooks: New York Breweries, and Pennsylvania Breweries, and writes full-time about beer and spirits. He has written articles on beer topics for various newspapers including the Philadelphia Inquirer and Chicago Tribune and works as the Managing Editor of Malt Advocate.
