Quick breakfast for holiday guests
ANSWER: Today's lifestyles find us stressed out and filled with anxiety during the time of year that should be the most enjoyable. This might be a good time to realize that perfection isn't everything. There are shortcuts that just might offer us some time to reflect and realize what this grandest of all holiday seasons should be about. Peace. Whether or not one has a personal religious belief, the holiday season should speak peace. Traditions are anything that you do the same way each year. People are often very attached to seemingly little, unimportant things, but it is those tiny rituals that really grow in your heart. Christmas is family time, so impress this on all members of your family. Don't be afraid to delegate! Remind everyone of the true spirit of Christmas. Prepare as much as possible in advance. If you ask guests to bring a dish, assign something specific so you don't have duplication. To make your Christmas morning as peaceful and stress free as possible, try my recipe for Christmas Morning Brunch, which can be prepared the night before:Christmas Morning Muffins  4      English muffins- split  16     slices bacon    8     large eggs, poached, still          slightly runny  Sauce 1/4      cup butter or margarine  1/4  cup flour  1     teaspoon paprika  1/4      teaspoon pepper  1     pinch nutmeg  2     cups milk  2     cups swiss cheese, grated  1/2      cup dry white wine (or alcohol free)  Topping 1     tablespoon butter or margarine  1/2      cup corn flakes, crushed
