Got a tip...send it in. We’ll print it.
ANSWER: You know what I find that is always amazing? It’s how many times businesses lock their selves up in meeting rooms and board rooms and try and figure out what the consumer wants. But most often, this input leaves out the most  important person involved...the consumer. Thank you for your suggestion. I think you have a great idea. One thing should be certain, with no limits on the subject matter of these ‘tips,’ we may not be able to print all we receive, even if we printed them for the balance of the year.I can see tips for starting a business; tips for picking a college; tips on managing a budget; tips on places to eat and things to order; tips on working with people; tips on business exit strategies; and on and on.We will again, as we always do, keep anonymous the person’s identify who is giving the tip. But it will be important for the person furnishing the tip to include all of the information for someone to act upon the tip.For instance, if you are going to give a tip about a hamburger you feel is one of the best served in Wichita, you will need to identify it, the name of the establishment that serves it, the address, phone, Web site and any other information of which you are aware or can easily find.We will print all that we can in our April issue. Then, what might be a follow-up, a list of comments from those who acted upon the tips. That could be even more fun.At the end of this article, you will find a ‘Best Tip’ form. Please complete it in its entirety. Then mail or fax it to the address or number listed.
