Identity theft...how to protect yourself
What you are experiencing is IDENTITY THEFT. Identity Theft happens every 4 seconds to someone. This activity is rated above drug dealing when comparing sheer volume and income potential for the thief.
In March 2007, Dateline NBC did an extensive 2 part program “To Catch An Identity Thief”. This program detailed that no matter how careful you are, sooner or later you will be a victim. Your personal information is out there for as little as $5.00. In reports from last year, more than 90,000,000 individuals’ information had been stolen by HUGE data breeches from companies that should have protected your information better.
The very company that has the funny commercials to warn you about “IDT” was breached and millions of former clients’ information was accessed by the criminal underground. What can you do to protect yourself and your family (children’s’ information is stolen as well as deceased individuals)?
There are companies whose ONLY job is to solve these problems for you. Imagine that with one call, you can hand these nightmares to someone else to handle and not have to spend time, money and frustration to RESTORE your peace of mind and your good name? These companies are world wide and well versed in how to handle these problems. Can your credit card company look in all 50 states to see if you have drivers licenses in those states that you knew nothing about?

A Wichita college professor waited two extra weeks to take out this protection and in that time someone ran up $40,000 dollars in fraudulent charges against her name and credit rating. Only 5% of identity thieves are caught.
