How to look marvelous in your swimsuit
Even the best-looking swim-suit can lose its appeal if it doesn’t support the breasts properly. Good support will provide optimum comfort as well as an attractive look. Certain styles are better for more voluptuous women. Women with large breasts should opt for a suit that encompasses as much of the breasts as possible and has under wire as a “shelf bra” to provide adequate support under the breasts. “A crossover back or T-back style combined with a square or high neckline are the best style choices,” Williams said. The T-back will keep the straps on the shoulder and hold breasts firmly in position. Of course the colors of a swim-suit can also play a part in how the suit looks on your body. Choose a suit with colors you love and ones that are flattering to your coloring and style. If you feel great in your suit, you will love wearing it. Tips for other body types: Thin and tall with small waist: Try a surplice suit with a print, avoid vertical lines. Extra long torso: Opt for a tankini or two-piece. Hippy: Avoid boy leg suits and skirts. Short legs: A higher cut thigh will crate the illusion of a longer leg. Thick waist- loose tummy: Select a one-piece with tummy control. Avoid horizontal lines. To ensure your suit maintains its support and elasticity of your suit, wash it after each use and never use bleach. Look great in summer wear: It’s almost summer time! Typically that means more activity combined with less clothing. Now more than ever it’s imperative to wear a properly-fitted bra to provide the necessary support to comfortably participate in the activities you enjoy! The right bra will feel better and make you look 10-20 pounds lighter. That’s what Oprah Winfrey proclaimed on a recent episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show featuring the importance of wearing a properly-fitted bra. A custom-fit, orthopedic bra assures women a more comfortable, fit, which is virtually impossible to find in an off-the-shelf bra. It takes several measurements to insure an accurate fit. It should not rise up in the back, nor hang or be pulled down in the front. A properly-fitted bra will provide the suspension, eliminating pressure on shoulders and pain in the diaphragm area. The right fit is also important to overall breast care. An ill-fitting bra does not provide adequate support, which prevents proper circulation within the breast tissue. In severe cases, poor-fitting bras can cause breast tissue to separate into glandular masses. A properly-fitted bra will hold the breasts in their natural position. It will create a waistline and make you look thinner, especially in thin, fitted summer clothing. “When the breast tissue is where it’s supposed to be, the breasts will look more natural and attractive,” Williams said. “Your whole body will look better; you’ll look more youthful.”
