This type of stroke occurs when one experiences any kind of neurological deficit that persists for less than 24 hours. Many of these events occur only for a few minutes and then tend to go away. Symptoms such as facial numbness, slurred speech, paralysis on one side of the body, blurry vision or sudden headache may occur.
