Steak recipes
Answer: We try to always have some new steak recipes. We of course can’t always feature them on our menu, but they remain favorites in and for any event. Here’s another one we would like to share. If you love spicy food, you’ll love this Asian style flank steak. If you’re not too keen on the spice, you can always omit the red pepper flakes and reduce the amount of chili oil the recipe calls for. Prep Time: 13 minutes Cook Time: 12 minutes Ingredients: • 2 pounds flank steak • 1/3 cup red wine, preferably dry • 1/4 cup olive oil • 2tablespoons fresh lime juice • 2tablespoons soy sauce • 3cloves garlic, minced • 1tablespoon lime zest • 1tablespoon brown sugar • 1tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped • 1teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional Preparation: Place flank steak in a shallow glass dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour onto steak. Cover dish and allow to marinate in refrigerator for 2-8 hours. Preheat grill for medium heat. Remove meat from dish, reserving marinade. Place steak onto grill and brush liberally with marinade. Cook for 5 minutes, turn, brush with marinade again and cook for additional 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and serve.
