Sequence of events at the end times?
Well, I hope I haven’t confused you like I have myself. I once had a church interested in me being their pastor but I had to have a "Pre-millennial Mid Tribulational" belief, if not, I shouldn’t fill out the application they sent. Sometimes I am spell bound by folks who have the charts, diagrams and scriptures supporting their point of view and I can see some of their points of view and say to myself, "maybe!" But I’m not so sure God wants us to have it all down so pat. A huge red flag comes up when a presenter starts predicting the year of Christ’s return as they point to current events in the newspaper. Why? Jesus told His disciples before He ascended into heaven who wanted to know when He would return in Acts 1:7-8 it’s not for them to know. Instead He gave them His power by the Holy Spirit to witness until He returned. In His teachings Jesus emphasized being ready (Matthew 24:44), watching (25:13) and doing (Luke 12:35-38) His kingdom work until He returns. That’s what we should do! Always being ready and doing His will - for Him to end this world and come again in His time! I am watching and working with great anticipation along with you for His tremendous cataclysmic return, Pastor Dave.
