A: The reason your spa cover gets heavy, is due to condensation; inside the spa cover is Styrofoam wrapped in plastic. Every year airing out the Styrofoam is recommended, to lengthen the life of your cover. By unzipping each side of the cover, it allows the moisture to escape from the cover, making it easier to lift and take off.
For covers that are larger and in general harder to remove, cover lifts are available. There are many different types and styles of cover lifts, yet they all make it simple, fast and easy! Check with your local spa professional to find the right one for you!
