The 2012 WABA Home Show
A: Welcome to Home Show 2012….. The Wichita Area Builders Association is excited to bring to the people of the Greater Wichita and surrounding area Home Show 2012. This year’s “sold out” Show will feature over 275 of the finest exhibitors in the area and throughout the country; all poised to put their best foot forward for all that attend. From truly humble beginnings in 1954, the members of the Wichita Area Builders Association and other quality exhibitors have worked tirelessly together to grow the show, while improving the quality of it. Such efforts provide obvious benefits to exhibitors who display their products and services at the show, but the persons that attend realize the real benefits and that is difficult to put a dollar value on. The Builders Association promotes their Show as the largest composite showroom that anyone can visit at any one time during the year. Attendees can spend as little, or as much, time as they wish examining products or services on display, ask questions of representatives that are displaying their products, collect technical and informative information and discuss pricing and financing options based on their interest in a particular product or service. At the Home Show, the consumer is in charge and exhibitors are there to help you. In preparation for planning to attend the 58th Home Show, it will be helpful to you, to be aware of some of the highlights of this years Show: •Exhibits will be located through all three halls of the Century II Convention Center - Expo Hall, Convention Hall and Exhibition Hall. •Many informative seminars will be conducted in Seminar Room #101 - which is located off the Garden Lounge area. •Tickets to attend will be sold at the Expo Hall and Convention Hall entrances. •Child care will be made available starting Friday evening and running through Sunday evening. •The majority of building product and service exhibits are located in the Expo and Convention Halls. •The retail sales section of the Show featuring an array of products typically used in the home will be in Exhibition Hall. •Concession areas are located in convenient locations for everyone in attendance. •A Garden Lounge is located between Expo and Convention Halls so attendees can rest and relax if they so desire. •Numerous public information booths are located in the Exhibition Hall and staffed with City and County employees available to answer any questions attendees have about availability of public services individuals may have need of. •Security is provided at the Show at all times to keep the environment safe for both exhibitors and attendees alike. •Show staff from the Wichita Area Builders Association is available at all hours during the Show to answer questions and assist both exhibitors and the public with their needs. •Free parking is provided at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium and shuttle busses run continuously dropping attendees off at all ticket locations and returning them to the Stadium when they are ready to leave. •Many exhibitors offer Home Show specials or discounts during the Show, which is an added benefit to attendees. •The Show is informative, but is also a fun and relaxing place to be. While there may be other opportunities and ways to spend ones time, there is not a better place to be during Home Show 2012 than the Century II Convention Center February 9 - 12. See you at Home Show 2012…Wichita’s annual premier Show providing quality information to the people of greater Wichita and surrounding areas for 58-years.
