A: Fortunately, there is a growing trend to accommodate those who, for various reasons, are working toward making every room and the furnishings in them multitask to the fullest extent. The result is a proliferation of fabulous new designs, fabrics, pieces, and ideas that will make any space feel inviting.
If you want to make your step-daughter’s space uniquely her own, yet still be one that would comfortably accommodate adult guests, here are a few tips to help you get started.
• Avoid painting the room in a way that is only appealing to a child. Instead, use an attractive background which will showcase the rest of the room.
