Hiding hinges...how?
ANSWER:  The hinges you are talking about are probably the european style that is so popular today. They are inserted into a hole in the back of the stile on the cabinet doors. The normal opening with these hinges is 110 degrees, but you can get hinges that open wider. They are best used with new cabinet doors, but in some cases it is possible to retrofit on old doors. There will be holes to fill on the cabinet if the old hinges were displayed outside the door. With the fillers they have today, it may not be very noticable. The best answer on the retrofit is to have someone look at the cabinets and outline a plan how to fix to everyone's satisfaction and see how much the cost would be. Some of the doors cannot be fitted this way without a lot of rework and would probably be less expensive to put up new cabinet doors.
